Holocaust Commemoration in Israel
For decades, the Israeli culture of commemoration was shaped by the established ideology of Zionism. In recent years, it has become increasingly fragmented and compartmentalized. This refers to both the culture of Holocaust commemoration and the memory of soldiers killed in action.
