| Hannah M. Lessing has been secretary general of the National Fund of the Austrian Republic for victims of National Socialism since 1995. |

| Hannah Lessing was born in 1963 in Vienna. She matriculated from the Lycee Francais in Vienna and studied Trade Science at the University of Economics in Vienna. She has been active in the Viennese student movement and abroad in the fight against neo-Nazism. Since September 1995 she has been the general secretary of the Austrian National Fund for the victims of National Socialism. |
