Common Ground -Associaion for Intercultural Mediation and Cooperation - was founded in 1999 by two anthropologists, Katherine Antinucci and Martina Steiner. The overall mission of the association is to analyse and raise awareness of the phenomenon of migration, racism, xenophobia and anti-semitism and how these effect contemporary society. Through symposiums, conferences and other activites which support and promote interculural exchange, Common Ground aims at an increasing the appreciation and respect of cultural diversity.
