Mag. Helga Amesberger, born in 1960 in Waizenkirchen/Upper Austria; study of ethnology and sociology (Mag.phil. 1993); member of the ARGE Women Anthropologists of Vienna (ARGE Wiener Ethnologinnen) since 1987 (conceptualization and organization of several symposia); employed as researcher at the Institute for Conflict Research since 1993; Main fields of research: Black feminist theories; feminist theories about difference and sameness, the affinity of women to right wing extremism; racism and xenophobia.
Mag. Brigitte Halbmayr, born in 1965 in St. Johann/Lower Austria; study of sociology and political science (Mag. rer. soc. oec. 1992) at the University of Vienna; researcher at the Institute for Conflict Research, Vienna since 1992; main fields of research: right-wing extremism, racism, xenophobia, gender studies, cross-border cooperation (Austria - eastern neighbours).
